Who is Bo Bear?
Bo Bear is an adorably unaware bear who makes a lot of mistakes and it’s ok. Everyone still loves him; in fact, everyone loves him more. When he speaks, we mere humans only hear “Bo” but his friends understand him perfectly.
WHAT IS BO BEAR & FRIENDS?
The first book focuses on simple homonyms and puns. So it can be used as a fun learning tool of words and word meanings for parents and teachers alike.
HISTORY
Bo Bear started as a children’s book I created a few years ago, some time after enduring a great personal tragedy of the death of my sister Jennica. In a very dark time for me, Bo Bear became something positive that I could focus on outside of my immense grief. It’s whimsy and silliness became a source of healing for me.
Originally, I imagined Bo Bear & Friends could be a book series. It’s gotten a great reaction from kids, parents and teachers, and the more I thought about story lines for books, the more this came to life off the page. My hope and plan is to develop it as an animated series for preschoolers and kids of all ages.

Bo Bear & Friends books and pins are currently available at Nucleus Gallery . I have learned I’m not so great just yet at running my own online store such as etsy, so am hoping to find more distribution soon.
